She's still missing the bigger picture though. The only reason these smugglers are getting away with what they are is because there are higher powers that are complicit in their operations. Destabilizing the west is all about rebalancing the global wealth and has been going on since the mid 90s. Sir James Goldsmith (British MP and billionaire) spoke about the subject often on national television (even in America) often until his death in the late 90's. It's only speeding up now that people are growing wary of the official narrative.

If you have some time, have a look at his interview on the Charlie Rose (US) show and it should ring familiar with what Lauren is now observing.
