Looks a bit dodgy really just based on what you've posted. I suppose the original ad may have more solid details and you can see that her account is real.

But, my initial thought is that they're just trying to catch people's attention, with some photos possibly borrowed from the internet, and get some responses to what's not really an attractive offer. Most English teachers in Vietnam already have classes scheduled at that time, if they want them. It's basically the peak time for kiddy classes.

Some tourists might be interested just to relieve the tedium of visiting HCMC.

I hope a big, thick Mandingo applies so she can get the 'sliding' that those sorry HCMC expat tefl jobbers clearly ain't delivering.

As the ad states, she will forward the details to the manager, so whoever applies will likely never meet her even if she has some actual association with the language club.

Vietnam is very short of English teachers. There may be a lot of foreigners in VN "teaching," but many are thoroughly undependable. And yeah, there are a lot of dodgy schools, too. I'm not a teacher but I know a lot of teachers here, just about everyone under the age of 50.
