I was vegetarian for most of my 20's, and vegan for a couple of years somewhere in the middle of those. It was all very well while I was living in London, but became very difficult when I started roaming the European continent. As for Asia, India is simple enough to be vegetarian in, but not always. By the time I got to SE-Asia I was already eating fish and sea food. I realized shortly afterwards that it was impossible to avoid meat here unless you didn't mind starving. Since then I just eat what I can get.
