Time To Cash In Zimbabwe Dollar 175 Quadrillion = $5

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Time To Cash In Zimbabwe Dollar 175 Quadrillion = $5

Inflation was at 500 billion % in 2009 ! I guess I'll hold on to my 100,000,000,000,000 notes at that exchange rate. Bar girls light up when they see all those zeros. http://news.yahoo.com/currency-dies-zim ... 44646.html

Zimbabwe!

Where you can legitimately claim to be the world’s first trillionaire wearing only cargo shorts, tuxedo shoes, a wife beater whilst holding a rusty machete. :good:

It's been US dollars for a while, a friend went back around 2 years ago, and they had Zim dollars, but no one would accept them.

In the 80s you could get a very good rate fro SA Rands, as many when-wes were thinking of heading south.
Jesus loves you...Mexico is great, right? ;)
