The weak points of Cambodians

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

This school is in Oddarmeanchey province. The NGO i am working with is doing some development works in that province. i will check if we are doing anythings with children in this school, if yes, i will go to see them.

Samouth, reading is not something you need to schedule months in advance.

People read when they have a spare 20 minutes, before sleep, whenever you have a little free time.

It helps if you find something that entertains you to develop the habit.

Even if it is an easy fiction book of no literary value, you will still pick up a lot of useful information, and may even gain some insight into the way foreign people think.

Samouth, I always recommend Cambodians read English comics/picture-books/magazines first, and then move onto novels/graded readers from Penguin/Oxford/Macmillan gradually.

i know that reading is good, but one biggest problem is that i can't concentrate reading book for more than 10 minutes. :( I can read anything on Internet for like 1 or 2 hours, but not book.

When i was at the university, i forced myself to finish a few books like Romeo and Juliet, Good Earth, Village by the sea, Cry freedom, Lady or Tiger. They were part of my literature course.

there should be a reading list here on another thread of entertaining and easy free books online.

as Samouth suggests, maybe short stories would be appropriate?
