The red carpet and almost nobody saw it
Early this year, while waiting to board a flight at PP airport, I was the far corner of the terminal to see a plane on the tarmac with soldiers in white uniforms at attention either side of a red carpet. There was nobody else there. A car drives up, and the "big man" gets out and and walks along the carpet and gets on the plane. There was no media. No spectators and apart from the soldiers, aircrew and maybe 6 or so of us in the terminal looking out the window, nobody else saw it it. So why ?

It's a procedure called "protocol", common to most countries. It can be done with thousands cheering or the bare minimum guard, it sounds like this was the latter.

How is it we're not using the alias Fluffy Bunny any more? That would make writing rabbit stories so much easier.
