I cannot see what the problem is, I have regular tuk tuks in different areas and I always give $2 and tell them where I want to go. No arguments

Prob'ly because in SV a lot of them are only pretending to be tuktuk drivers to cover their drug dealing, and when you hire one, that takes them away from their real job of hanging out on street corners hassling tourists. Hence the c**tishness.

As I was leaving SV on the bus after I visited, I was chatting to an American guy and I joked if I didn't find anything else to do I could always become a tuk tuk driver drug dealer, which caused the bus driver to LOL.
