Sunday: Are we so anti-Christian we're turning pro-Islam?

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

I have to say I had no idea how personal the dispute and history between you and Dag is. My issues with you is that I saw you ban Dag and protect Stroppy.

That said I cannot support EITHER of you on this personal "You are a drunk/You drink too much/I saw you drunk" crap.

When I first started traveling a lot I learned "Code of the Road" ---- what happens on the road stays on the road and is not subject for discussion elsewhere. I think this should apply to bars and elsewhere as well.

Keep Forum Fights for what happens in forums not real life.

Tempted to nail both of you with negative karma -- but I don't do negative Karma.

I really wish you would understand that it wasn't about protecting stroppy from criticism. had it been, i'd have banned you as well don't you think? probably first, because your arguments were much better and more critical of the actual information than dengaham's flights of fancy.

it was an ongoing pattern i'd seen emerging with deng, and been monitoring for some time over several threads, and had finally reached the point where enough was enough and began escalating the actions.

That is fine, you have your POV and I have mine and the issue has been beaten to death already.

The point of the post was about your recent bashing each other about drinking habits and episodes.

I have never met either of you but I would certainly be hesitant to get pissed with either of you if I thought details about my night out was going to end up on an internet forum.

Who cares if you saw him staggering on 136?

And his comments about you are equally bad.

Honestly I hadn't cared, I had laughed it off. Until he kept degrading me over liking to have some drinks now and then from his high horse of a non drinker. Thought I'd call him out on his lies and knock him off of it.

Taking the low road, I know... but after the frustration of dealing with all of this for the last 24 hours while trying to get packed, say my goodbyes, and figure out how one puts 2 years of their life in cold storage for a year... I'd just gotten fed up.

Yea -- I hear you on that --- changing countries is a real pain in the ass. I still have like 15 years of stuff sitting in storage in Singapore.

OrangeDragon wrote:Dengaham, it was clearly you. Maybe you did recognise me when you looked up and then stumbled off out of shame hoping i'd forget and not blow your act. Either way, you were clearly quite hammered.

Do I drink, absolutely. I enjoy a good drink, and I enjoy getting a little hammered now and then. Quite fun in my book.

Anyway, I see your trolling isn't going to abate, so as I instructed stroppy, this will me my last reply to you outside of having to take some action on behalf of the site/moderation. Hopefully others will now see you for the troll you've shown yourself to be and follow suit until you get bored and shuffle (drunkenly i imagine) off.
OD, you are known for being a very serious drinker - drunk often and at bars frequently. You can't deny that. You were drunk when you "allegedly" saw me drunk. I never get drunk and no one has ever seen me drunk because last time I was drunk or even had a hangover was in High School.

Again, ask anyone (i.e. your lovely partner G-mack who has seen me order water on more than 1 occasion in a bar) who knows me and they will tell you that I am a total pussy when it comes to drinking. I do love the 2-3 drink effect and never even spend $250. in an entire year on booze. I just aint got the constitution - it aint a "moral" decision at all.

You're apparently in denial about your drinking. That's OK, lots of folks are. That's where your anger and frustration come from apparently...
