she was talking about a conversation we had, if im going to look at a khmer girl seriously here she cant have had a barang bf before or slept with a barang before, (its not impossible) but girls that fall into that category wont be the best wife/gf material, a khmer girl thats had her heart broken by a barang, she will never fully love/trust another barang and will only be with him for the financial stability etc..
but thats just my preference, a lot of my friends here are khmer and the khmer culture is well ingrained into me so that might influence that idea, and they (boys and girls) agree with my opinions, im a guy that "never says never" but thats my first thought

Say what? That's a very fun question to ask, LoL.

Answering it sucks. I usually say "more than one," which is true, and sounds better than, "well, you couldn't count that high in less than 3 minutes."

And while I wouldn't care, I could definitely see the older generations in my family not liking me dating a black woman. I know they would just blame it on the era I which they grew up when blacks had to use different restrooms and go to different schools, but I'd still call them plain racist.

It's crazy to think the US went from separate facilities/lines/seats for blacks to "you can't call them midgets, they're little people" in a span of about 50 years.

No excuse for old, racist folks, but they grew up in a different world that I can't even imagine.
Well,in America you had a lot of black people in your parents generation, (something we never really had in England).
I'm not sure why; although, I think it had something to do with capitalism and obtaining an advantage over one's competitors.

I know what's worse: That fact that I know the songs called Never SAY Never, not Never SAYS Never, and I didn't even have to use Google.

I just remembered a story that may be relevant to this thread.

A friend of mine was telling me a few years ago about a mutual acquaintance we both had. This guy, P, had just got married to a girl, J, and he was very much in love with her.

One night at a party, my friend was looking for the toilet and opened a bedroom door by mistake. Lo and behold if there wasn't P's mrs with 5 black guys getting it on. She was apparently in eager collusion.

My friend then had to work out whether she told P or not about it.

P is white as is J. My friend is black. I'm pink, and Shiva's bright blue.

I think it is comparison. I think it's just some guys doesn't have enough confidence in their relationship. Maybe they think black guys are better than barang or so sweet..ect. so they are afraid their girlfriend will miss them or go back to black guy again. Why do people compare an orange with apple ? It waste the time to compare yourself with someone. You will never get happiness or you are deserved a liar.( Or barang think that they don't have pride to get a woman who was used by black guy? ).
When I told a man ( barang) that I've boyfriend, first question he asked me is if he is Khmer or barang? I might be a bit picky, but if I chose someone I'll look at his heart, not his skin or his past. But honestly I like my bf's eyes. :-)

Okay, the race part isn't important for many people here. I get that. But you don't care about your new boyfriend's past at all? You don't care if he has slept with 1000 prostitutes before he met you? Doesn't someone's past reflect their judgement and therefore their suitability as a husband/wife? Remember, we are talking about a marriage partner here, not just a boyfriend or girlfriend. Most guys i know would have no qualms about dating and having sex with any girl who previously had sex with a men of any race. But from my experience, most of those same guys would never consider marrying those same girls.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good post. :thumb: I think the OP and a few others must be suffering from penis envy. According to a few black prostitutes i have spoken to, black guys don't generally have bigger dicks than white guys. They also can't all dance well.
