Sex, dating, marriage and latent racism? - POLL

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

hmmmm.., apples and oranges comparison, I think. Flesh and blood offspring is a different relationship than adult relationships, which can come and go routinely by choice.

Interesting Ros. No matter what people think about it as long as you are happy with your life and situation. BTW, i was in town a few days ago, but i didn't manage to meet you guys as i was on my way to visit koh rong and koh rong samleom. I only had a beer at where Hotdigr works as it is right on the pier.

Yes but the capacity to love is the same. Each relationship is different, each person brings something different to the mix.

My man and I have been together for five years, our girlfriend joined us a few months ago - obviously it takes time to build a relationship.
I am what is called his "primary" and she is his "secondary" (I really really hate the labels) but he does a damn good job of making both of us feel important and cared for.

Does polyamory sometimes equate to group sex, or is it that sex is allowable with several different people within some agreement, but only one-on-one at a time? If that is too persoanl a question then I''ll just' drop it. Your situation does bring up questions. I get the concept, just not the actual practice. I think many men would love to see their girlfriend with another woman, but not with another man.

I think as there are no written rules, every group or persons situation would be different. I was first introduced to this situation in a commune in my early years. We never had a '' name '' for it back then , but it was described to us by our leader as living in a '' family ,'' like it was back in the early stages of mankind where a whole family and relatives lived together. As years past, families got smaller and smaller, down to mother , father and 10 or more kids, then economics made it 8 kids. then 4 kids and in recent times 2 kids. In more recent years it's no kids , then the next step is just living together [ flatmates come to mind ] with both working to make a living. The economics of trying to live in this world make sense for adding a extra person or two or three into a family group
Look at a situation like this,,, Two people living together,,, one is unhappy, so who do they talk to . Four people living together , one is upset/unhappy ,,, there are three others to give comfort and talk to.
Two people living together, both need to work to pay mortgage, car payments elec, etc.
Four people living together, two or three working, always leaves one at home to look after kids, house, garden. [ that would be my job ]

Looking back in time, would society ever have thought that one day people would be living together without getting married, or shacking up as flatmates, or even two of the same sex living together and even getting married.

Looking forward, is society so blind as to not see group marriage or a simular situation not only based on economics but on a changing lifestyle.

EXCELLENT question and one reason why i only had one child
I think it is normal for anyone that has 2 kids, 2 lovers, 2 pets --to prefer one over the other.

As to Being bi. I would guess there are many more bi women than bi men
women seem to accept sharing more than a man

Rutiger wrote:Let's say you meet a beautiful girl (of any race), and you find her personality and just about everything else about her very much to your liking. You really like this girl. But you find out her last boyfriend was a big black guy. Maybe all her previous boyfriends have been black or maybe just one. Either way, does that in any way disqualify her as marriage material for you? Is that a deal breaker as far as marriage goes? Not dating or sex, just marriage out of the question?

If that aspect of her past is a deal breaker, does that make you a blatant racist, or is it just a socially-acceptable personal preference that you insist on for a wife?

I bring this up after reading in another thread that some barang told a Khmer girl that he wouldn't marry any Khmer girl who had previously slept with a barang man. He didn't say he necessarily wanted to marry a virgin Khmer girl, just a Khmer girl who never had a barang sex partner. It got me to think of a very lovely and sweet girl in my office who showed co-workers old pictures of herself on vacation with her previous boyfriend. After that, all the young guys in the office who used to drop by her cubicle and chat her up every day seemed to have lost interest in flirting with her. She used to have a queue of young lads lining up. I call it the curse of the black ex-boyfriend.
Hello Rutiger. Was the Khmer girl's ex-boyfriend black? And are the young guys foreigner or Khmer?

I hope that everyone understands that rozzieoz using the word '' weird '' to describe something in 2016, yet in the year 2026 we may be using the word ''normal '' or ''special '' to describe the same situation. Isn't it funny how our views of the world change over time.
