I think it is more than a little odd that anyone should find the lgbtq subject worthy of objection.
It's not like there are any negative impacts on society.
I kind of thought we had moved past that particular type of bigotry.

.0009%? There have definitely been people in your life who have had some kind of issues around gender identity. They just haven't shared their feelings with you because they've realized you're a hateful bigot, which is why it may seem like these issues are a lot rarer than they actually are.
