US plane passengers have a little spat

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

US plane passengers have a little spat

Post by Anchor Moy »

Guy is stabbed with a pen by little old lady! I'm just surprised that you're even allowed to take potential deadly weapons such as pens on a plane these days.

A plane was unable to take off in the US on Thursday when a man claimed he had been “stabbed” with a pen by a fellow passenger angry at his snoring.

The Southwest Airlines flight from Chicago Midway airport to Manchester, New Hampshire, eventually left two hours later after the woman was removed.

Footage from the plane showed it returning to departure gate, where several police officers boarded and fire engines and ambulances gathered outside.

Lenny Madarski, 68, told ABC 7 television how he dozed off on the runway before being rudely awoken.

Don't jinx it, that might change after this! ;) at least I'll have an excuse for always forgetting a pen for my customs form.

The PEN is mightier than the SWORD.

I thought old ladies used a hat pin.

ps: Didn't they ban knitting needles?

I wish people who snore weren't allowed on planes. I feel for that little old lady.

Maybe they could have snoring and non-snoring sections ? Snoring, or non-snoring, Sir?

Only problem with that is that everyone thinks that they themselves don't snore; it's always other people.
