i hate censorship which means basically one person's opinions take control and tell everyone else what they can or cant see.

Censorship, the changing or the suppression or prohibition of speech or writing that is deemed subversive of the common good.

So PR you would have no problem with one posting fictional accounts of rape, child molestation, slanderous comments of another member of the forum or knowingling posting false information that could cause harm?

I believe in Free Speech but shouting "Fire" in a theatre or saying "I have a bomb" aboard an airplane are not included in my belief. Neither is libelous, slanderous comments or knowingly spreading false information that would harm the public good. I lean left, that is no secret. Censorship is rarely the work of one person but usually done a by a board or panel. We are both old enough to remember XXX movies shown on 42nd street that could not be shown in Poughkeepsie, plays that could be preformed in San Francisco that would not be allowed in Orange County. Usually censorship reflects community standards. Is your post a knee jerk reaction to what you perceived a heavy handed move by a mod ( having just returned from a six month ban I may or may not agree with you on your view ) or is it that you too have joined the legions of those that feel if you throw enough shit at the wall some will stick? This pandemic has certainly brought the nut cases out of the woodwork, from those that suggest injecting disinfectant ( later claimed to be sarcastically) to those that claim the vaccine will allow Bill Gates to track ones movements. Behind the dupes or easily influenced there are those that intentionally sow disinformation for political or financial gain. You are an intelligent man, I am not telling you anything you don t already know.

Got to love a guy who calls you an idiot and whose opinion of me is (#$%^&*() lol, says I am a $%^&*% and refers to me as a whiner and a nut case but as soon as he is back from his ban quotes me. Re $%^&*(... I don't think that's technically a bad name and in the context I used it, it was a singular reference to the Vienna sausage poster character who thinks I'm calling him names. I reread my post and don't see any bad names I called him. I know a guy that lives in the dark side of Pattaya, his girlfriend works at Big C. His two favourite things in life are when his girlfriend get her pay and spending it on $2 beers in a bar with other like minded leaches. He believes that those who fear Covid19 should wrap their head in plastic bags secured tightly around their neck. A deep thinker, a man about town and an all around swell guy. He gets a little manic the last two or three days before his GF gets her pay and often vents out at others on the interweb. $2 beers and missplaced anger are his go to reactions to the cards life has dealt him. After 2 failed marriages and a business that went under it became apparent to him that his real calling in life was to be a keyboard warrior, to use petty nicknames for others and to take the contrary view on every issue to prove to the world he was his own man. Covid19 may not be as dangerous or deadly as it was presented to us all by the governments of the world, giving up on life, leaching of the GF's 11,000 baht a month salary, $2 beers and extreme petttiness will probably be his cause of death. again, it's only an online forum and comments from the little vienna sausage guy aren't bothersome. seems he's spent some time trying to put together an account of my life, probably obsessing. Nice job but fairly inaccurate on the details and plain wrong on a few. Keep studying and letting me as they say, live rent free in your head... Would however nice if you showed a little class and left the GF out of the game if that's even possible for your sort.
