WTF, are you calling Ringo a scouser?

I don't like to discriminate against people but these people deserve much of the derision thrown at them. I'm Irish and know these people pretty well. I've had loads of dealings with them over the years, not always pleasant. I'll never forget when this knacker kid tried to put a stinking blanket over my head and tried to bundle me down a lane to the river, he'd been checking out my watch, I was about 8 years old and had to fight him off. The smell was disgusting. My parents were a bit liberal and progressive so used to teach itinerant kids in the 60s. They gave up on it because the kids they were trying to educate kept coming around and stealing their shit. Itinerants looked poor back then, they lived in barrel-top horse-drawn carriages. They were called "tinkers" supposedly because they could fix pots and pans. They'd come up your drive looking to fill a couple of blackened kettles from their decrepit campsite.
Whatever about that, as time moved on they acquired more of the accoutrements of modern life. Horse-drawn carriages were replaced by modern trailers. And horses by 4x4s. They went from asphalt-laying to carpets, construction and all sorts of dodgy paperwork, grant theft, burglaries, fly-tipping, extortion, drug-dealing, targeting vulnerable people, murder ( I can go into detail on that if anyone cares) scams and other stuff in no time. You might find some okay ones you can do business with but I'd advise not having anything to do with them.
