We only have normal massage

Last night i went out late, so i couldn't park my motorbike inside my apartment as the gate closed at 10 oclock. So i have to park my motorbike in the guest house near my apartment. I always parked my motorbike there every time i went out, however i have never noticed that sign, it said massage is available. Then, i asked the owner, Oh massage service is available here. She immediately replied, we only have normal service. I looked at her and smile and just walked away.

So what do people expect when you walk into the massage parlor?

I am no big fan of massage and what completely did me in was that every massage in Vietnam offered "special" services, even in up-market hotels. Here in Temple Town it would seem that almost all massage places do massage only.

If they have signs like this and private rooms, you should expect at least a hand job.

I will say, it is completely hit or miss around Phnom Penh though.

However, the sky is the limit and you might be surprised by what you get offered sometimes.

I think it was very nice of the lady to tell you upfront what kind of massage they're offering, and for all she knows, maybe some of her staff are offering this or that.

I even got offered a happy ending at one of the touristy places in Siem Reap, but I know that is rare and that was only once.

i was really stiff from some tough Sparring down at Paddys so a day or 2 later i went to a respectable looking place in PP and got a massage, was in a room with about 10 beds in it so i wouldnt say it was a private room, although i was the only customer in there, she discretely offered me a discrete tug, not sure if its common practice there but the impression i got was that it wasnt,

theres a few of the blue signs around sihanoukville downtown areas, i know some of the girls that work in them, all Vietnamese

Well my experience of siem reap $1, 2 lady (jailbait) massages cost more than $1. In my defence, i was very drunk, every time.

i have no idea about Vietnam, i went to Saigon a few time and most of the time i was with my family. So, i can't pop in those massage parlor, lol, honestly i don't even know where they are i guess.

i have never been to any places that have all these signs, it just looks too dodgy for me. However, most of the time, i went to the one that look pretty normal and of course you can't judge book by its cover. Staff needs more money, most of them don't get salary if they do, it is really little. I got offer a few times and i always thought they only offered it to foreigner. lol. Don't ask if i get it or not, it is personal.

During my all too brief stay in PP I had just the one massage. It was a $10 an hour therapeutic oil massage in a basic room performed by a no nonsense, very competent 50 something year old lady. It seemed like it was going to be a normal massage, no conversation, very business-like but at the end she smiled, rested her hand on my thigh and said 'extra 5 dollar'. Who could resist that so I said 'mm', at which she promptly pulled off my underpants and cheerfully provided the service to a man in obvious need. It was a win-win outcome as she pocketed a 50% bonus and I left happy and ready for a beer.

Absolutely disgusting, picking on 50 plus year old pensioner ladies.
