As for posting PMs from 440 over here, we generally frown on it. Even privately sharing them isn't really good form unless they are directly related to serious problems... which I don't consider name calling and such to be.
I didn't (and tbh still don't) consider what Bendix did to be an outing as such; for me outing is this: 'To reveal confidential, true, personal information about someone against their will and without their permission.' Source: Urban Ditionary.

Hard to say which was the chicken and which was the egg... but it was there. And if nothing else, became a self feeding cycle. Like when her first post in a restricted access section, which she didn't ask entry into until after she'd been made a mod elsewhere, was to ask for a list of it's members. Can't help but find that a little suspicious. Especially given the tension between the two sites at that time, and the all too recent usage of posts from that section to bash on this one.

Personal I have never had any of my YouTube accounts deleted or have been reported for comments since opening my account 2006 .
I feel freer to post my true thoughts there than on KKK440 where unless you're in the clique go have to walk on egg shells .

I never thought you would have more liberty to express my views with a massive multinational like Google then a small forum site like K440...

If i would have been told I was on some Mod approval function I would have not posted this thread, knowing the Monk wasn't being protected ...so next time K440 communicate with your users instead of trying to make them feel uncomfortable ....

More and more it seems this site has been used (in a good way) for conflict resolution, ironing out misunderstandings and mending fences for both forums.

Absolutely... I just don't think she can claim being victimised for being a mod. Even in the links she just posted, those people were having a go at her BEFORE her mod status as well, the green name just gave them something more to target her for.

Well, they were out to get her. It's tough being nice when the shit flies.

I wasn't happy either when she became a Mod. Seemed like a betrayal.

But I felt her talent was doing more good over there to improve things and changed my mind.

I'm sure that given some respect, she would be nicer.
