Macron wants to 'emmerder' the unvaccinated (video)
Well, this has triggered a translation storm with the use of the French word 'emmerder' ..
So which meaning was his intent?
Macron sparks outrage with cutting jab at the unvaccinated
Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron said on Tuesday he wanted to “piss off” the unvaccinated – a slangy, cutting remark that prompted howls of condemnation from opposition rivals less than four months before the next presidential election.
“The unvaccinated, I really want to piss them off. And so, we’re going to continue doing so, until the end. That’s the strategy,” Macron told Le Parisien newspaper in an interview published late on Tuesday.
The expression “emmerder”, from “merde” (shit), can also be translated as meaning “to get on someone’s nerves”, “to annoy” or “to make life difficult for someone”. It is considered “very informal” by French dictionary Larousse and is widely used by people in all levels of French society, including children. It is not regarded as being as strong as its English equivalent.

Maybe his choice of words was not very presidential, but I am sure he has many vaccinated French on his side. People that are fully vaccinated and have no time lost for the idiots that refuse to get vaccinated.
Re: Macron wants to 'emmerder' the unvaccinated (video)
Can't he just lock them up and put them to good use in labor camps?
Re: Macron wants to 'emmerder' the unvaccinated (video)
Labor camps in France ??? Hahaha, they dont know what it means "working" in France, they will first go on strike, then discus about a 35-hours-working-week and then block all the rondabouts around Paris to get retired at the age of 55, even if in a labor camp !! Thats how france "works" !! Listen very carefully, i will say this ony once !!!

mmmhhh, maybe good idea !! ?? If all the french from the labor camps come to live in belgium, they get horney and marrie a flemish woman ?? After some time we run out of woman and have an excuse to marrie a khmer girl from about 1.50 and 25 years old !! I like it when a plan comes together !! ??
And that all started with Macrons word "enmerder" !!

Conceptualizing how we want to live then claim it requires efforts, it is actual work already.
Even the sun doesn't happen to get the fucking time to sleep on the French territory, it's the only country on which it doesn't set...that's how busy we are.
Tell that to your Health minister, i have a feeling she could use a few tips about sweating it...^^
Nice beer though, kudos on that

Well, I thought this, too. Not so much the laid back attitude to work, but the resistance to stuff they don’t like. I thought they’d never stand for this…Bongmab69 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 12:32 pm Labor camps in France ??? When Europe was on lockdown, the one place that I expected some obvious demonstrations of resistance was France. What we got was the deafening silence of compliance. The (nearly) whole country seemed to suddenly not go to work.

Well that was just after the big gilet jaune thing, which lasted long enough to create deep ripple effects in the working society. The covid confinements were just right in time to allow many people to just take these confinements as paid extra holidays, in some ways.Freightdog wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 6:46 am

Also, when you're an individual, not expert on health matters, well, either you rebel without being too sure about being right, either you knock it off and comply for the time being, awaiting how things unfold.
As the majority of people aren't epidemiologists, they can't really tell how manipulated they are by the ones making the rules, not too early anyway....And in 5 months, presidential elections, with more cuntish moves until then. Things could happen.
I guess the vexating thing was to be so prominent on vaccines at some point in history, but largely out of touch on this one. That was an eye opener for many.
We do have flaws indeed, as you do.
