The music was a bit sleepy for them so we put on a selection of Japanese girl bands. Is this a first for a Phnom Penh hostess bar?

Stereopony disbanded a while ago. They sounded much better live when the processor was turned off and Aimi's "womanly" voice came through though. on being Okinawan girls, haha.
If you like them though, you might like Scandal.

Re: Kawaii Metal "Cute Metal"
This is a joke right? I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised but nah, what utter shite. 80 seconds of the first and 10 seconds of the second video was all the "cute" Japanese shite I'll ever need.Jamie_Lambo wrote:Right for those of you that dont know already, theres been this new craze over in Japan of a new style of metal called "Kawaii Metal" which translates to "Cute Metal" and its a fusion of Metal and J-Pop,
a band called Babymetal who started the genre off a couple of years ago went viral and are pretty big now, they sold out the Brixton Academy in London (5000 capacity) and sell out 20,000 capacity arenas in Japan...
Babymetal... (ive been to see them in concert twice lol)
Well there is a new kid on the block called Ladybaby...
they released their first single a few days ago and its already got over a million hits on the tube...
Prepare to be disturbed lol
this music is terribly catchy though
gotta love Japan haha

I saw Osibisa live in Mombasa around 1983, one of my most memorable concerts ever.
