Just wow.

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Just wow.

Please tell me this is a joke.

Prime Minister HE yesterday lashed out at rumours his eldest son HM was the result of a relationship between his wife and a Vietnamese leader, blaming the opposition party for spreading the “serious insults”. The premier addressed the rumours, which have long percolated online, while speaking to graduate students at a ceremony at Phnom Penh’s National Institute of Education...

Why would you even discuss this ? Too much FB "sharing" ? Or is it going to be another (pseudo) reason to arrest people ?

All the exciting stuff happens on Fb:
Cambodian PM HE uses Ramadan greeting to show off beach body on Facebook
THIS Ramadan, Cambodia’s Prime Minister HE has sent a message of peace, unity, and body confidence, and it’s not one we’re likely to forget in a hurry.

While most politicians have tightly controlled public images, HE is well-positioned to rise above such shallow notions. He knows that all he needs to be beach body ready is have a body, some serious self-esteem, and go to the beach; which is exactly what he did.

In greeting to Cambodian Muslims who observe Ramadan by fasting during the ‘holy month’, HE wrote on Monday: “I want to show that our country is peaceful everywhere, and leaders can travel to work or recreation without fear of terrorist attacks. Greetings fellow countrymen, especially Muslims, on the first day of Ramadan.”

The post was accompanied by photos of the prime minister frolicking in the sea, showing his people how to pull off ‘beach body ready’, wearing just a wet white vest, shorts and sunglasses.

What do you think?

HE (front C) pose with HE's extended family during their meeting at the latter's house in Phnom Penh November 10, 2009. HE's family includes (Back row) HE's son HM and his wife (unidentified), HE's son-in-law Sok Puthivuth and his wife Hun Maly and HE's son Hun Manith and his wife (unidentified).

I would say they're a good mixed bunch. Bun Rany is 3rd generation Vietnamese. HE is Sino-Khmer.

His wife looks at least half clown.
