"Houston: we have a problem!" Copycat ice cream lickers
A case of test before you buy..or..suck it and see??
It all started with a girl dubbed 'The Lufking Licker' coz she took out a tub of Blue Bell ice cream from the freezer at a Lufkin Walmart supermarket, had a good lick, put the lid back on and returned it back to the freezer.
Anyway after the video went viral, law enforcement were called in and after an investigation they tracked her down and she admitted to the whole thing. Only thing is, she was found to be a minor and therefore will be subject to the discretion of the juvenile justice system.
In the meantime, and in between her doing the dastardly act and getting caught for it, another dude thought this was a pretty cool thing to do..
Only problem is, this guy is an adult and so the full force of the law should be put on him. He claimed to have later purchased the tub of ice cream and did it for the purposes of gaining notoriety and publicity. However, the police have not withdrawn charges as "it's a terrible thing to do and not in the best interest of public health".

Fuck it, give him publicity. Give him whatever is the highest sentence for tampering with sealed consumer goods and then make every copycat famous the same way until it stops. Then he will have publicity.

Years ago I've had friends in Thailand bring home a tub of ice cream and find large scoops missing. Apparently supermarket staff have been known to do this. The ignorance is mind-boggling when you consider product contamination and how some product areas are specifically covered by CCTV for this reason.

Didn't take long for another one to pop up. This time with mouthwash...
“Girl, it has been one musty f—— morning,” the original poster, whose username is “Bameron Nicole Smith” on Twitter, says in the video.
Smith then takes a swig and says, “Nice and minty and fresh. Thank you guys, have an amazing day,” before strutting down the aisle and out of frame.
The original poster later tweeted photos of themself with receipts that seem to prove that Smith purchased the mouthwash from Walmart rather than leaving it on the shelf.

A Texas man who filmed himself licking a tub of ice cream in a Walmart then putting it back in the freezer has been jailed for 30 days
He was also given a $US1,000 fine and a six-month suspended sentence and was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and pay $US1,565 to the ice-cream company Blue Bell.
Anderson, who pleaded guilty, was just one of several people who promoted themselves licking supermarket ice cream in 2019. A Texas woman, who also licked Blue Bell ice cream in a store, was identified after her video went viral in June and faced up to 20 years in prison, according to authorities.
A 36-year-old man in Belle Rose, Louisiana, was then arrested in July on the same accusation. The police told CNN he was charged even though he ended up purchasing the tub because “at any rate, it’s a terrible thing to do.”
