Have you ever regretted after having a tattoo or tattoos ?
Re: Have you ever regretted after having a tattoo or tattoos ?
never had or will have a tattoo pointless waste of time. unless you are in in some traditional old tribe that has them. Only a vain person that likes to follow fashion would do this shit to their skin. But its their skin so go make yourself look like an idiot if you want to.

It was far from a fashion when I got my first one done in 1982. I have 16 hrs on my body now, which used to be considered a lot, but now days, some of these kids have more hours then that invested in one arm. All of mine can be covered by wearing a T-shirt ( thanks Grandad, best bit of advice I ever got!) And after 30 odd years, I don't consider them a waste of time. Nor do I consider myself particularly vain. Haven't had a new one in about 10 years, but haven't ruled out the possibility of more if I want them.
In answer to the OP - Little Salary, every one of them has meaning to me and I don't regret any of them!

agree ive never had any done for fashion, ive designed most of mine myself, some ive taken months up to 6 months designing, i even read the Iliad to find a quote i liked from there to go with my Greek mythology sleeve, i then got a copy of the original text in ancient Greek and dissected it to find the part i wanted then got it professionally checked, the quote i got was a quote from Achilles, "I will meet my fate gladly whenever Zeus and the other immortal Gods wish to bring it, for i will rest in peace when im dead, but for now let me win great glory!"Hotdigr wrote:It was far from a fashion when I got my first one done in 1982. I thought you got a sleeve after you became a belieber?Jamie_Lambo wrote: too late for me that, although out of all my tattoos i think i was most anxious about getting my forearms done, even more so than my hand lol ive got 2 sleeves now, dont regret it though, sleeves are "fashionable" now apparently, probably because Justin Beiber has one or something

fashionable sleeves when i was a teen were big tribal pieces
then it went to religious sleeves (jesus cross/virgin mary/cherubs/preying hands/rosary beads etc)
then it went to "oldschool" sailor tattoos
its now fashionable (according to my facebook) to actually think Justin Beiber is actually cool after his new album, i think all these people need hanging

i do have a "Stupid" tattoo, when my tattooist said he had some crazy design and needed someone crazy to tattoo it on,
he said it involved Yoda, and am i up for it, i hadnt really seen any Star Wars apart from most of Return of the Jedi, but agreed anyway,
its not finished and still some work left to do on it lol

Not only do I regret my tattoos but I regret making them fashionable by looking so fucking good. I got them to look scary and once every tom dick or harry had them I hated them, and think they are pointless.Plus they hurt!
