Grimsby!
When I was living in Phnom Penh around four years ago now I used to head for a beer in GSM and also obviously for some people watching,I know these places are seedy but there is usually plenty of interesting sideshows talking place at these hangouts for expats and miscreants plus the beer is cheap?
I’m not really a big fan of expat bars unless maybe they are sports bars like Score in BKK1,I prefer a mix of locals and expats plus maybe some live music if I’m in the mood not been to Oskar’s but will try it next time?
Anyway obviously there were a number of TEFLers in there who generally seems like decent enough lads they’d say hello as I was a new face,one of them however like the title from Grimsby really was an absolutely massive numpty!
He was one of those types that is constantly miserable and always trying to provoke some kind of confrontation for no good reason,apart from his own self-loathing and hatred despite the fact that everyone else was in a good-natured and playful mood it being GSM and all that?
There was a Brummy lad there a villa fan who was up for the craic so we’d have a good laugh but Grimsby was always trying to put a complete downer on everyone and the whole night,just a very annoying person in general!
So I just wondered if anyone knows if this misery guts is still around and if anyone has any more stories about party poopers like Grimsby to tell,how some halfwit messed up your night/s?
Come on let’s get it all out right now it will be very therapeutic,you know that you all have a story you’d like to share about your very own Grimsby!

Well, it’s in the asinine section, which is a start. I still think there could be some mileage in the mods shuffling all similar posts into one thread, or at least threads that don’t pass muster into asinine as a quarantine.
Either way, they’d soon get bored if no one was reading their ‘output’
