Scobie is also a drama queen, with his tantrum on here recently and asking his account to be deleted, only to rather squirmingly, ask for it to be reinstated once he has a forum to spam and entice members back. He wouldn't be on here if he wasn't trying to entice people back with a false face.
I'm not going for the "chocolate oven defence" either He could have posted under his own name when defending a forum he was in the process of buying.

To be fair, he only asked for it to be reinstated when he heard of what KiR had done regarding the deletion of members and their posts on transfer day, to apologise to those who it was done to and assure them that the new owners had no hand in it and regretted that it happened. Which I know to be fully true.

From there it was me who posted on 440 and initiated the "lets try and not be cunts to one another like KiR made it" idea. And I think it's a good one. We're very much our own forum now, not their spinoff. We have new members signing up all of the time (literally 3-4 a day) and now that the fear factor is gone I suspect we may even see more crossposting from members over there.

In a town/country where bar owners drink in each others bars, there should be no issue with forum owners posting on each others forums.

Since when did fire guards become ovens? It seem another erosion of our traditions and language.

Not particularly surprising to see him go out with a last minute flurry of account deletions against the wishes of the new owners. Despite all his recent pontificating about how wonderful his life supposedly is these days, he just showed himself to still be an angry and vengeful little boy. He must cry himself to sleep each night murmuring "Gonk....Gonk...Gonk....".
