FOR SALE: Khmer440.com [SOLD!]

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

They actually can, any time you change your email address it's deactivated until you activate it again.

He asked.

And just for the record, he has since told me he'll still be glad to give me the stats I requested he supply to back up his last claim next time we meet up.

I also believe he had no idea their reported stats were being doubled and it came as quite a shock to him to see it announced here. I believe him because there's no way us non-programmers could look at a website's lines of codes or at Google Analytics and be able to see that.

At the end of the day, I agree with that 'Airborne Hen', Bendix seemed to come here with the sole intent of creating hassl. He tried, he failed, he has moved on, although with a very theatrical departure.

I have no doubt he will morph and return in a new guise, as will others but lets remember they are a minority and most folk, on both forums are nice, open, honest and decent. We should always remain open and welcoming to everyone.

What did make me laugh, was if it had happened on the old K440 forum, how long do you think someone would have lasted, before getting BANNED?

He has therefore done a great service to CEO - He has independently tested the CEO ethos, of openness, honesty and tolerance and CEO passed with full marks.

Now should we return to normal business?

It's trivial for Google to filter duplicates, and they do it.
We accidentally included their call three times on our main page some time back, the extra hits never even showed up in our stats and we got an email informing us that we multi - called them.
Not sure how they treat all sites, could be that we were informed since we are an active partner working with them, maybe the default is to just ignore dupe calls, no clue.

not anymore they don't... at least not when I just tested it. instantly marked double traffic on the real time view and then I took it out.

i have one client that actually asks for google states on reports, i tell him they are worthless for viewing traffic.

user views are not the same as unique views
few things i like GS for is ;
seeing where traffic is coming from
comparing tablet vs pc vs mobile and i have seen traffic via mobiles growing
and the drop out %
