FOR SALE: Khmer440.com [SOLD!]

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

He was forced into the corner. He made the the best choice available to him, LoL.

Anyways, it's a win-win for everyone, now that he'll soon be out of the picture! ! ! :Yahoo!:

Yeah, that's how I know he's furious about having to sell his baby because of us...

C'mon guys, you really should cut the guy some slack! When all the crap went down during the big bubble-T stoush, it was KIR who rebuilt K440, who invested a heap of time (and no doubt dough) to get it all back to being a good forum. Maybe a lot of you aren't aware of the history, but there was sabotage, historical archives lost, all sorts of shit which KIR (with Sambo`s help) managed to restore, retrieve and fix, so that many of you who came later down the tract originally enjoyed/participated/tolerated. Sure, his actions over the last while display all the symptoms of what we Aussies call "troppo", but for all the investment and effort he put into it, I'm not surprised if he is just a little bit bitter. I'm sure most of you would probably have reacted similarly as it's human nature!
Rise above it (if you truly want be different).
I wish KIR all the best!

When are you leaving for Saudi Arabia, GMack? :(

As for K440, I wish the new owner and the team good luck in keeping the site's edge and managing that unruly bunch (myself included).

BC, no doubt he has done good things for K440. His comment on twitter is uncalled for, imho.

Actually, no. That's the sole reason he was pushed into a corner with no options but to sell out. He was acting how most people WOULDN'T have acted.

I've been close friends with KiR and especially Sambo for a few years now, and they heard about CEO straight from the horse's mouth before it was even launched. KiR likes to make it seem like we're backstabbers, but the truth is I told him about it before launch and he laughed it off and wished me good luck with the Dragon, and a few days after taking it further he snapped and tried to get us to stop, LoL.

So while I agree he put A LOT of time and effort into it, it's finally clear he has been putting the wrong kind of time and effort into it, and is now having to sell.

I wish the whole K440 team good luck with the sale, but it's nice to finally see him out of the picture.

It's only an 11-month contract, don't worry, LoL.

I will cry if we don't get the chance to meet up again before my trip to the desert!
