Fact of the day

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Yes, in Dong Tong, ដងទង់, they like baht cos it's so close to the border. Most people can speak Thai. And, even the provincial Governor is/was Thai (or so I heard).

I doubt they would want baht in Koh Sdach, unless they're doing business with Thai pirates/smugglers.

i remembered walking into Thailand, it is really close. I paid something like 500 riel that time to walk into Thialand to buy some stuff.

BTW i am impressed with your khmer reading ability. Well-done.

Honestly, it was our first trip to Koh Kong. There are many things I don't know about Koh Kong.

You could fit every man, woman and child on earth into the state of Texas.

(They probably wouldn't want to be there, though)
thats just based on everyone living on a plot of land of like 10m x10m, but where would the 6billion people work? that plot of land would get smaller and smaller over the years due to poulation growth, the world isnt over populated, some areas are yes but the world is a big place,
this is a better way to see it...

Distribution is the problem not overpopulation. You could house all of Europe's homeless people 5 times over if they had access to all the unoccupied buildings, for example.
