I was under the impression that he makes no attempt to hide his real name. I would have assumed he's spent time in Thailand, but I haven't read a single thing that he's published. I got a few messages from friends recently that told me i should read his last book, as it's about him living in the Middle-East.

Ha! I assumed that was the tagline for the book!
