Dumb laws
Re: Dumb laws
Utah has a 4.1%? alcohol rule too, something to do with what constitutes a drink or some nonsense, but it results in a lot of weird distribution of alcohol sizes and brews etc. I only got the run down while on holiday there when I asked why the Heineken was only 4% alcohol when it cost twice as much as in California.

Just throwing this in - only in Florida - sober guitarist arrested for playing national anthem on July 4. The streets are secure thanks to Florida's finest.

Sounds like he's a weal webel who should be awested. In comments posted with the video Pittman explains that he originally set up to play in the street but was asked by a police officer to move back onto the pavement, and that having done so he assumed he could rock out legally.
"I do not promote deliberately defying authority," he wrote.
"I endorse good character and fun times within the system. I did not have a drop of alcohol in my system and was just trying to be as patriotic as I can, legally, on the day of our independence."
Rock and roll.
Re: Dumb laws
Washington State used to have what they called the "Blue Laws."
In a bar or tavern you cannot walk with your drink.
Women could not set at the bar. (thus Piano bars.)
Taverns had to have big windows so everyone passing by could look in.
No alcohol or meat sold on Sunday.
Taverns can only sell beer/wine, bars can sell hard alcohol and beer/wine. (current law.)
POT IS LEGAL! (current law)

http://thoughtcatalog.com/rachel-hodin/ ... lly-exist/31. In Utah you can marry your cousin, but only if you are both over the age of 65. Because, you know, when you turn 65 you’re known to have impeccable judgment.
Another "interesting" one. Maybe because they figure that people stop having sex at 65 ?
