The economic/political collapse in America is long over due. Why do you think they are giving military training, weapons and equipment to every cop and police department? Never in the history of America have all the federal agencies been under one agency/person, The Department of Homeland Security. It has unlimited powers.

In America there are/were three branch's of government so that their would be checks and balances. All three branch's of government (and the big corporations) are run/owned by the attorneys and their bar associations. Obama-Iben-lying is an attorney as is his wife. So is Hillary (I didn't kill Vince Foster) Clinton and her co-president.

As a young adult in university, I was in a very small town in the MidWest U.S.- I won't forget seeing a brand new white SUV from the Dept. of Homeland Security always driving around. I was wondering WTF we needed it for. The town was farms and maybe had a population of 15,000 people. No big cities nearby. Although, the state I was in, does have a city that has the highest population of Muslims in the United States ( Dearborn, Michigan). Great city, but you know, American government and Muslims. Maybe that is why the department of homeland security had vehicles patroling around small town Michigan? Dearborn was at leat a good hour drive from where I lived. Whitey farmland central.

I kind of liked the safety of the town however. It just so happened to have law enforcement stations for 4 levels of agencies. We had the local city level police, the county(province) Sherrif's department and his deputies, then we had a Michigan State Police station in town and then a few of those Home Land security people driving around. Although, the homeland security guys never once did anything that was ever noted.

I don't think shit is going to happen to America that isn't going to happen to Earth. I pretty much assume that with our population doubling by the year 2050 and resources etc etc, our species will be our own doom. I just think we are going to destroy the environment of Earth and are going to either go extinct or find a way to habitat another rock out there in space.

There is going to be civil unrest. It does not need to be Armageddon, but the whispering in the trees that will cause the walls of the 'Western World' to crumble. There are two rule that have applied to all civilisations, in the last few thousand years.
1. no civilisation thought themselves to be a civilisation, each thought it to be a new world order, a new way.
2. each in time failed and gave way to something else.

The 'West' is the same, it rose and it will, in time fall. It is no different. The rich know this and are busy stashing away. Rich people, remember, make much more money in recessions and hard times than they do in times of boom! but this time they might just be buying their stairway to heaven.
