Go there, or call, or maybe Facebook. Hardly any government department here uses e-mail in an efficient way. Consider your message lost and start again.

But my first call would be the embassy, because without a travel document you can't leave / be deported.

My hope was that they could facilitate transportation to pp.

Maybe even get 2000R for water.

It's a high expectation I realize.

If I did get ten bucks for it and bought a night bus ticket I'd be in pp for days without food or water and on the street.

Monks have rice I've heard although I don't know for sure.

Phone isn't worth 5 bucks.

Years on it.
Battery smoked.
Screen broke.
Cheap to begin with.

Best case is getting deported to sub zero winter wonderland with nothing but shorts and tees. Nowhere to go after hitting the airport.

I can say, if a cobra bits me tonight on the walk out, I'll lay there and let nature take it's course.
