I'm 52, expat, enjoying Hanoi.

PS It fairly common here in Vietnam to ask of age as well, for similar reasons noted above.

Thanks those who dare to share the age. It seems that most expats who used to live and are currently living in Asian countries are so open about their age. I am glad they don't think this is an offensive question. :)

UT: 50 years old
Richard:65 years old
Jamie: 23 years old
Little Salary: 20 years old

Well Samouth. I'm older than you but younger than Vladimir's wife.

I use the term wife loosely though since he is too old to get married in the kingdom and also makes far too little money.

Unjust law but them the rules.

You forgot that I got married before the law re dosh was passed, and I was living here before I reached the dinosaur cut-off point.
