Chad and UAE are the countries consuming the most alcohol.

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Further proof that you can make statistics say whatever you want.
Here, by eliminating non-drinkers (could be 90-99% of the population of the UAE), you prove that the remaining 1% are raving alcoholics; and in comparison, British people don't drink very much - UAE drinkers consume 33.8 litres of alcohol annually against the very reasonable British who ONLY drink 13.8 litres. (Actually, the UAE drinkers are probably British expats anyway.)
And whilst the Brits are known worldwide for their moderate drinking, the streets of Chad are awash with people rolling about wasted on the 33.9 litres they consume annually. LOL
(Note to General M - idea for his next holiday  )

Roughly 34 litres A YEAR? That's a good - or bad; depending on the point of view - week here. :D

Probably bad! Assuming 5% beer and three glasses per litre: (34x100/5) x3 = 2040 glasses per year or roughly 5.6 glasses per day. Pretty moderate by some Cambodian expat standards. :D
