CEO and Khmer440 reach a GENTLEMEN'S AGREEMENT!

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

I think CEO posters coming on here and posting CEO CEO CEO might put the thread on a path to be locked.

Update: Thanks for editing the post above.
Just do like you always do and delete their accounts!

This video is an oldie but a goodie. Every once in a while I have to take another look. This is completely in fun and if you don't have a sense of humour there's no point in watching....tongue in cheek

I akin Rick Mercer to Jon Stewart....I have to admit I was amazed at the professors and gave kudos to the young man who knew better LOL

You just can't make this stuff up. I was eating a bowl of vegetable soup while watching this. I am cleaning little pieces of carrot out of my keyboard. LMAO

I do support the bombing of Canada!

WoW. The CEO thread on K440 is starting to get interesting again.

They continue to defend their unethical behavior of posting about their members' PM's.

They have 1 Admin (KiR) that publicly posts PM's between OTHER users, and 2 active Moderators (Gavin and Scobie) that continue to post about PM's that members send to them in order to try and ridicule them publicly. Just WoW.

How can they continue to try and justify that?

I personally feel that a forum run by people who post their members' PM's in order to ridicule them (or for any other reason) is about as bad as it gets.

K440 really is a sinking ship, and I think CEO has almost NOTHING to do with that now. They really have made their own bed over there. For me, it's sad to watch.

Any advertising is good advertising!

:plus1:
At it like cats and dogs over there. Now more than 7100 views!

DM is now accusing GM of disclosing PM's:
DetroitMuscle wrote:So now you are telling the forums about a request that I sent to you through a PRIVATE message....? well, 2 PMs I sent you. 1 about Cambod and 1 about that thread.

Sorry, I was under the assumption that what I said to you in a PM would remain private. Yes, I asked you to take down my "drinking" thread. Now everyone knows that.

K440, where PMs are public.

Edit: Damn GenMac, you beat me by 3 minutes.

Ha! Thanks for the quotes though!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who realizes what a pathetic stance K440 is taking on the privacy of their members.

Sometimes you made those requests by PM, sometimes on the forum, but I don't see how that is significant.

Oh. My. God.

I don't think I've ever seen Gavin lose an argument so blatantly before.

They still just don't get it over there.

<Waiting for the official PR announcement from Scobie, LoL.>

Good luck to them.

Surely you jest. No offence, but this is one of the silliest things I've seen you post. It's a truism that you can go to any remote location on earth and call "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie" and you'll get the familiar and somewhat annoying response.
No offense taken at all. I take very little on these forums seriously. Just because you have communities all over the world does not make you any less insular. Go to Singapore -- Walk down the bar/restaurant area behind River Valley Road on any weekend and you will think you are back in Oz. Block after Block of Aussie Families and Aussie Revelers eating Aussie food and not an Asian in sight other than the service staff and the occasional Filipina domestic Helper. It looks like an Aryan festival but with Bogan accents

My Singaporean Buddies (Some of who went to school in Oz) refer to it as the "Australian Ghetto".

We yanks collectively deserve our share of abuse for how dumbed down and inward looking our culture has become ---- but at least those of us that get passports and get out tend to try to integrate with the locals socially.

In an ironic way your "Aussie, Aussie Aussie" comment helps prove my very point.
