Be Careful on your Bicycle in Kampong Thom
Yikes. Not sure if a helmet or a seatbelt would even have helped. Be careful out there.

Damn, gory.
I think this kind of accident is quite common, guy on a bike, no reflectors/lights, drunk guy in car/truck texting on phone, bump, carry on.

Poor sod. Looks like he had no chance at all.

Something interesting about the photo...
They usually just throw small Riel notes over the body of someone who dies a messy death. Someone was thoughtful enough to put an empty Angkor Beer box next to him to put the money in.
Does that go to the people who clean up the mess, or to the victim?

Me and my morbidity: When I saw the photo, I thought the box was for the remains. I guess I was flat-out incorrect. (To soon?)

to be fair, I'm not certain that's what's going on with the box. However, you often see corpses laid out like that with a pile of small notes on them. Looks like that's what's going on.GonzoBobH wrote:Me and my morbidity: When I saw the photo, I thought the box was for the remains. I guess I was flat-out incorrect. (To soon?)

Pretty sure it's to help with funeral expenses.General Mackevili wrote:Something interesting about the photo...
