Canada races to be the next 3rd World State

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Canada races to be the next 3rd World State

Post by CaptainCanuck »

All of this is true ... except of course the bit how the Conservatives will fix everything ... decades of voter apathy ... a typical voter turnout of less than 35% has habitually allowed only the most rabidly political of the citizenry to decide the direction of the majority .... Canada is fucxxed ....

Who else is in this race?
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Canada and the USA are actually two of the least likely to become 3rd world if globalisation comes to an end. The reason for this is they both possess supplies of raw materials, food production, and an educated workforce and a system in place to replenish said force ie. A state funded education.

I think the only first world country that has made a tangible effort to become a third world country is the UK.

Why isn't this in Asinine, anyway?

The UK supermarkets are now rationing vegetables, so that's a new low and puts the UK in this race too.

In my home Province they are initiating evictions at a Seniors Retirement Home to make room for immigrants ... I guess there is more Federal tax dollars per room for immigrants than the seniors can pay on the their Old Age Security .... As this home is government run, it's not the fault of capitalism but merely that The West is led by evil people who don't care about the citizenry.

Sweden seems to be doing a good job in that department.
