Are mosquitos an "animal"?
If so, they get my vote. Only second to those killer animals called "humans." Disgusting creatures.

YES, they are. Any of a kingdom (Animalia) of living things including many-celled organisms and often many of the single-celled ones (as protozoans) that typically differ from plants in having cells without cellulose walls, in lacking chlorophyll and the capacity for photosynthesis, in requiring more complex food materials (as proteins), in being organized to a greater degree of complexity, and in having the capacity for spontaneous movement and rapid motor responses to stimulation.General Mackevili wrote:Are mosquitos an "animal"?
Re. mosquitos: it's absolutely unknown for what that little assholes are good for. Scientists think that it wouldn't be a problem to eradicate them.

A mosquito genocide is in order then.Advocatus Diaboli wrote:

Mosquitoes are food for birds and spiders.
Don't mess with the food chain, it's been working well for a long time already.

Yes. But pharmaceutical companies and producers of insecticides will not agree with you.General Mackevili wrote:A mosquito genocide is in order then.

You definitely got a point there.Username Taken wrote:Don't mess with the food chain, it's been working well for a long time already.

There's been an awful lot of dead people as a result from the mosquito though already. Might be worth letting the Polka Dot Beaked Hummingbird and the Tasmanian Fire Penguins go extinct so we can have a mosquito free world.Advocatus Diaboli wrote:You definitely got a point there.Username Taken wrote:Don't mess with the food chain, it's been working well for a long time already.

On the contrary. Have mozzies take out about 3 Billion people and this world would be a much nicer place to live.AE86 wrote:There's been an awful lot of dead people as a result from the mosquito though already.
