AMERICA should give ALASKA back to the RUSSIANS

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

USA owns Alaska precisely to keep a buffer of protection from Russia and they have a lot of equipment there pointed at them.

They are Hypocrites because Russia wants Ukraine to be a buffer for the same reasons yet the west and NATO offered Ukraine some candy and lies while driving by in a shady van and they took it - knowing full well what would happen. Meanwhile they won’t get their own hands dirty by attacking Russia - just pretending to help by sending more equipment that these poorly trained Ukrainian soldiers roll over into the ditch if not blowing themselves up first.

It’s like sending the cheerleaders into a fight between a wheelchair bound mentally handicapped person and a WWF fighter cheering them on while tying up and taping their gloves and putting in their mouth piece while telling them they are gonna slay and reminding them they have all the medical support and extra helmets and gloves on standby - yet not intervening while he’s being pummelled.

Proxy war that the west not only caused but designed.

What a load of crap. Russia proposed the sale of Alaska to the United States in 1859.

How utterly ridiculous. The US owns and will continue to own Alaska for many reasons, natural resources being an obvious one. The amount of mental gymnastics you Putinists have to go through to justify an unprovoked attack on a sovereign country is beyond me. You are still living in the US and yet you support its major enemy? Traitor. 8-)

Well you never make it clear where you live but either way your argument about Alaska and Ukraine is ridiculous garbage.

John do you know how to have an exchange of ideas without being so condescending and inflammatory? Yes people have differing opinions and I am free to express mine and I did. Nothing is cut and dried there’s layers and nuance. Open up your mind a bit and also stop being such a curmudgeon.

Sute, keep trying to deflect from your support for the Russian invasion. Did you get your opinion from Tucker or Q?

You need to go back and check some of the other shit you have said to people on other threads before you criticize someone for being condescending and inflammatory. Because now you’re being a hypocrite.

I don’t watch television - have never subscribed to Fox News but have watched the occasional Tucker clip on YouTube when it looked interesting and yeah he’s affable and interesting to me and our thoughts may align. That said I form my own thoughts and he has not been an influence in my life. I’m not afraid to form my own ideas.

Really have no clue what Q even is tbh. Again though do you have to be so crusty - can’t you be civil in discourse without such thick disdain for people who may not share your views?

Or is it that you just enjoy being a troll? Perhaps that’s your thing.

I find it hard to believe (that anyone might consider) that US government considerations of 170years ago were based on a European political landscape that exists now, or even that which developed 70years ago.
And both parties entered into a sale. The Russian government, some 50/60 years before revolution, offered something for sale, which was legally purchased.

Russia’s (Putin’s) land grab doesn’t even compare. But if you were to try to couch the Ukraine situation as some sort of trade or similar terms, at the very best it would be based on something akin to threat and extortion.
