I vote every Nigerian applying for a visa at the airport, should have to sit on a toilet for 24 hours and be force fed unhusked rice.

That was more or less it:
Two Nigerians were arrested at Phnom Penh International Airport on Monday for smuggling 1.27 kilograms of cocaine inside their bodies, according to the National Authority for Combating Drugs.

Okafor Iffeanyi Anthony and Adibe Paschal flew from Nigeria to Vietnam, via Qatar, and then to Cambodia, using Qatar Airways flight Q970 – the same flight taken by a Thai woman who was arrested with cocaine on April 1 this year.

“When the [authorities] detained them at the airport, he found some substances which they carried in their hands,” said In Song, an official at the Anti-Drug department at the Ministry of Interior. “They carried this substance to deceive us.”

Police confiscated several bags of the mysterious brown powdered substance but it did not test positive for drugs. “The drugs that they hid were in their stomach,” said Song.

Police extracted the drugs by ordering the Nigerians to eat laxatives and excrete them on Tuesday and Wednesday...

Wow, wow, wow.... There are definitely some legit Nigerian English teachers in Cambodia.

I'm sure the ratio between Nigerian Teachers and Nigerian Princes who want to send you millions of dollars might not be the best case to highlight, but also remember how many western skumbags show up here too.

An interesting article from a couple years ago in the Phnom Penh Post about being black in Cambodia:

I've not met any Nigerians here in Cambodia, but used to know lots of them back in Germany, and all of them were fine and honest people.
Just because most scumbags are Nigerian doesn't mean that most Nigerians are scumbags.

So, they are claiming they didn't know each other, and only started chatting in the immigration line, so looked like they were together.

I feel there's a lesson to be learned here, whether this story is true or not...

Two Nigerian men arrested for smuggling 1.27 kilograms of cocaine in one of the men's stomachs have had their hearing postponed to seek evidence on whether they knew each other or had accidentally met at the airport. See photos from their arrest here. Phnom Penh Municipal Court presiding judge Heng Kesro on Tuesday, April 18th, ordered the postponement until April 28 to clarify what the relationship between the men was. Okafor Ifeanyi Anthony, 42, and Adibe Paschal, also known as Oscar, 33, flew into Cambodia from Nigeria in May last year on a Qatar Airways flight after a transit in Dubai. They were arrested at Phnom Penh International Airport with over a kilogram of cocaine discovered in Anthony's stomach, according to their confession at the hearing. Anthony said that he was asked to swallow the drug capsules by a man in Nigeria named 'Nandy', who allegedly told him to bring the drugs to a man called 'Okata' living in Cambodia. '[Nandy] said Okata will give me food to eat in order to get the drugs out, and he will give me $8,000 as a transportation fee,' he said. Paschal denied any knowledge of the drugs, claiming that he met Anthony for the first time at the Phnom Penh airport and that he came to Cambodia to buy clothes to sell in Nigeria.

Just because you're not aware of it doesn't mean plenty haven't contributed. I know some perfectly respectable and well-educated Nigerians here.
