He's probably not in Cambodia, but will leave this here to help spread the word. This does not look like a backpacker who forgot to call home. If he was around the Bangladesh-Myanmar border then things don't look good, but let's hope for the best.

One month on from the OP and the family are still posting missing messages on social media.He has been missing since January.

Ah, that sucks. Unlikely that he will turn up after 4 months, that is more than going on a massive blinder....
