Woman Dies During Breast Surgery in M25 Beauty Center

Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: Police have reported that a woman died while undergoing surgery at 9:00 pm on March 3, 2023, at the M25 International Beauty Center , Street 70, Sangkat Srah Chak, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.

The victim, Khun Channy, 41, Koh Touch commune, Teuk Chhouk district, Kampot province, told her husband that she was going to the beauty parlor to have a nose job, but, in reality, she had breast augmentation surgery without telling her family, When the family arrived at around 9 pm to take the woman home, they were informed that she had died while undergoing surgery on her breasts.

The owner of the M25 Beauty and Academy Center and the medical team had all escaped from the scene and disappeared before Daun Penh district authorities arrived. It should be noted that for the time being, there has been no official confirmation by the owner that any incident took place at the beauty center named above. Meanwhile, police are investigating.


Currently, the authorities have temporarily suspended the business of this clinic, waiting for the authorities of the Office of Science and Technology and the Phnom Penh Medical Examiner to inspect the clinic, as well as perform an autopsy on the body to find the cause of death. It is speculated that the woman may have died of a heart attack during surgery.
