Argentina is a wonderful place, Bueno Aires is made up of French , Italian and a bit of German influence. It has a parisian flare. The time span given in the grapphs reflects the unpredictebility of it.
Throughout recent 3 decades I have seen BA going from the most expensive city in South America to the cheapest metropolitan city in cycles of approx. 5 years. Crime rate coincides. Food, steak ,choricos and enseladas are fantastic.

I was in Malaysia a month ago..
Normally, the Ringgit is closely shadowing the Thai baht for at least the last 20 years
This time I got a staggering 25% more RM for my baht!!

That makes Malaysia the best deal now in the region. (Moneywise that is)
It also means that the baht is in for a major correction
The same I suspect goes for the riel but its ties to the dollar complicate things much more.

Keep in mind also that China and Indo had hefty devaluations in the past year or so
