Thai police make another big Interpol arrest – alleged Slovakian thief banged up in Samui

Police in Samui working closely with national officers and Interpol have made another high profile arrest of an internationally wanted fugitive.

fugative SamuiThe man arrested in Bo Phut on Thursday was a Slovakian former hospital director who was hiding out on the holiday island, reported Thairath.

He was wanted on an international warrant after more than a quarter of a million Euros went missing from his hospital.

The arrest follows those recently of one of the Philippine’s most wanted kidnappers and a Canadian wanted in Singapore for a bank heist.

Arrested in Bo Phut outside the Avalon Hotel was Michal Grujbar, 38.

He is wanted in his homeland of Slovakia for stealing 282,935 Euros (about 10.9 million baht) from the hospital where he was the director in the town of Zlate Moravce. The crime was committed in 2012 – 2013.

Interpol had contacted 190 countries for help but it was Thailand that found the suspect with many different forces and divisions working on the case. Grujbar has been held for overstaying his visa...

This is a really good the Koh Samui police catch international thief. Because if the police don't do this, then we face these kinds of things on daily basis. Which i not good. I am happy after reading this new. Thanks buddy for this nice sharing.
