Thailand Studies 50-year Leasehold Contract for Foreigners

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

there is already a 30 year lease hold contract that many use here.
the current way farangs buy is thru their wifes/gf /kids ( how i own tru my half thai daughter) or set up companies to own the land and than lease it to the Farang
more spin on the fact, long time stayers are not investing as they were before
UNTIL they can guarantee a Farang buyer a visa for the length of his lease.... its all bs
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

^^ English comprehension problems. (notice the 's' in comprehension).

@Jack, can you start a new thread and I'll delete this or move it, or whatever. Also, the name of the school would be good too.
