I'm quite surprised no one seems to have posted this story which I consider has huge implications of Thailand (particularly regarding the likely impact on investor sentiment - even those considering buying a home in conjunction with their Thai wife)
BBC journalist faces five years jail for Thailand reporting
A British journalist with the BBC faces up to five years in a Thai jail after a lawyer brought a criminal defamation case against him over an investigation into fraud on a popular tourist island.
Rights groups say the case exposes how Thailand's broad defamation and computer crime laws scupper investigative journalism and make it difficult to expose wrongdoing in a country where corruption is endemic.
The prosecution was sparked by a September 2015 report by Jonathan Head, the BBC's Southeast Asia correspondent, looking at how two foreign retirees were scammed out of their properties in Phuket.

Without any explanation, Thailand has blocked access to the New York Post.

According to Thai Netizen Network (TNN), the website have been blocked since 23 February by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society. The url “nypost.com” currently loads the message “This website contans inappropriate content and information blocked by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society.”

However, The Matter has found that access to the website via https protocol is available on some internet networks. The news section of the website also remains usual to some networks.

Though the Ministry has not announced any reason for the censorship, The Matter asserts that the case is similar to that of the Daily Mail, which was blocked from Thailand after reporting stories about the royal family.

BBC World Service withdraws from Thailand

The BBC World Service has stopped broadcasting from one of its major global transmission stations situated in Thailand, AFP has learned, after talks broke down with a junta riled by its uncensored coverage.

just checked it ,works fine for me using BBB internet provider and no vpn

The BBC sits at the top of my hate-list as far as lame-stream media go.
Any time they get clobbered(rightly or not) is ok with me

your personal feelings about the BBC are totally irrelevant compared to the gravity of the story (particularly for foreigners who rely on their Thai wives to be able to own homes legally in Thailand) Jonathan Head was trying to report.
