Russian tourists undesirable ?

This was posted on social media today. First question, have Russians become the tourists that nobody wants ? Secondly, is this legal ? Imagine if the sign said No Thais.

I have also seen "No Israelis" signs in Thailand and Vietnam. Not sure about the legality but in principle any business has the right to refuse customers.
Russians can be difficult, especially those on the cheaper end. But then that is true for many nationalities.

i remember my local had a "no fucking pikies" sign after a load moved into the field opposite! (pikies are slang for gypsies)
no left after a few caravans were burnt

Chinese

blacks
Irish
but I doubt if any one of this group would ultimately be refused entry if they took out $100 bill and slapped it on the table

No laws in these these countries regarding this. Probably had a bad experience or two and decided enough was enough.

I took three Indian guys who worked with me for a meal in PP lately.
If I had not been in charge of them, and they not new in the country I would have just walked out and left them there. Two of the three were extraordinarily rude to staff, uncouth, lots of spitting and hacking, and just whinging bastards generally.
If it were my place of business I would have asked them to leave.
Boss of tom yum kung has more tolerance than me.
