$150? That sounds pretty decent.

Thank you. If anyone is interested in scheduling an appointment to take a look, please let me know. You are not obligated to rent if you don't think the room is the right fit for you. We have two available now and two more are coming.

Why "apartment rooms"? Are they whole apartments, or rooms in an apartment? Because $150 seems very cheap for a whole apartment in that area.

The same accommodation goes for $250 on their website:

Seem to be renovated rooms in Khemara Guesthouse for long-term stays.

OK yes, I just got their email.

Pros: New and clean, balcony, free wifi, daily housekeeping, and close to Orussey Market (my favourite).

Cons: No TV, no hot water, no stove, no aircon (I'm ok with that but others might not like it), and will need to buy all your own rattan furniture.

Of the cons it's no hot water that would be my biggest issue. Still a great deal if you are happy to buy some furniture, stove etc. Anyway I have five months to run on my lease here.

Sorry for the confusions. The rate $250 on the website is a hotel stay's rate. The room will have TV, daily housekeeping, linens, towels, etc. and utilities are on us as described on the website.

Whereas the $150 rate, we supply the room only that has your own living space. We provide one bed and it's unfurnished. If you want hot water and air conditioning, you can arrange the service to be set up because all utilities will be paid by the renter.

Moreover, this is not a shared room. You will have your own room with private bedroom, private bathroom, living room, and kitchen.

Thank you.

Thanks for clarification. Does sound like a very decent deal.

Is there a minimum length of stay?

I guess it all depends on how long you plan to stay.

If a couple years, I'd have no issue buying tv, a.c., and even those hot water attachments.

Agreed. If you were going to stay for 12 months or more then buying those things would pay for themselves, and of course you could take them with you or sell them later if you were to leave. From what the OP says it looks like it doesn't come with the housekeeping or wifi either, which is a shame (especially the housekeeping lol, I would love to have someone come by and sweep the place and make my bed for me. I could pretend I was a rich westerner).

****EDIT: the wifi is included as per post from OP below, and housekeeping negotiable. Nice.
