Animal Planet Cambodia FAIL
Just watched Animal Planet's new series Eye on Asia, this episode was about Cambodia.
Apart from a few glaring mistakes re certain animals, it failed miserably, perhaps even criminally, in one respect.
Not ONE reference to wildlife being endangered by illegal animal trading/deforestation, govt inaction/complicity in destruction of the environment.
Not ONE.
Idiots.

Well, to give them credit, they at least avoided corrupt lawyers/accountants, but hey, even Hitler was fussy about such scum.

I think we need to auto-correct the following, 'corrupt lawyers/accountants' to read 'those who cannot be mentioned'.vladimir wrote:Well, to give them credit, they at least avoided corrupt lawyers/accountants, but hey, even Hitler was fussy about such scum.

Vlad, we don't have any of those who cannot be mentioned on this site. We only have members.
If you have a beef with those who cannot be mentioned on another forum, I don't think this is the place to air that crap.
Cheers,

You have to give Vladimir credit. It must be difficult to find new ways to bash lawyers, accountants (or is it doctors this week? - and anyone else who has earned more than $1 per month) in each and every thread...including this one he started about the Animal Planet TV channel but still managed to get back to attacking lawyers within two posts..

One example: they confused a Burmese python (p. Bittivatus) with a Reticulated python (p. reticulatus). Remember that these people are supposed to be experts in their field, this shouldn't happen.General Mackevili wrote:I want to hear about the glaring mistakes about the animals in Cambodia.
They had a unique opportunity to remind/tell people Cambodians are destroying their environment, but chose rather to show viewers the biggest dangers animals face as being other animals/predators.
Nothing about habitat loss, nothing about eating animals/using animal parts for medicine, nothing about wildlife trading.
@soi dog: you funny man, I suspect you were educated in Kansas, where people cannot discriminate between 'corrupt lawyers' and 'lawyers'. Search 'adjectives' on Google. likewise, your memory is going.
I have repeatedly and consistently qualified any criticism of richer people with the proviso that I only dislike those who came by their money in an immoral or unethical way. Paste this on your GI Joe dolly, and read it frequently to correct the Alzheimers/rabies.
Those who object are usually stupid or corrupt. I'll give you and others I don't know the benefit of the doubt and place you in the 'stupid' category.

Vladimir, you are a hapless broken record with nothing of substance and nothing original to add to any discussion. Blah blah blah evil lawyers...blah blah blah US Republicans..blah blah blah George Bush. Did they finally get sick and tired of your pathetic, predictable whinging on K440 and tell you to fuck off from there? If so, it's the wisest, most overdue move they ever made. 20,000+ posts and not one original or interesting thing to contribute there. To bad you came slouching back here. Feel free to fuck off back to K440 and close the door behind you.

Disagree. Vlad brings a refreshingly empathetic and left wing tone to the discussion. And plus it was a joke and funny. Why so serious?
