drinking water dispensers
Hi!
Trying to work out what to bring with us...
any help appreciated!
Do people use 5 gallon bottles of drinking water?
I currently use a counter-top dispenser that also heats/cools water. Does rented accommodation usually provide one or am I right in bringing one with me? It is fairly new and not cheap to buy hence the question.
Thanks

Yes easily obtainable here. The replacement bottle costs around a dollar. Not sure how much the dispenser would cost though.

Dispensers range from 70 to 100+

20 litres with a tap. Costs 75c for refill. I use a kettle to heat water and a fridge to cool it.

Yep, that's all you need. You pay a $5 deposit on the bottle and swap it out for $1 each time for a full one at a mom'n'pop shop on your street.clareindxb wrote:even better! Thank you

Do yourself a favor if you aren't living in complete abject poverty... buy yourself a water cooler that also has a hot water nozzle. You deserve the best after all. Yes, 70 to 100 would be USD.

I've since discovered that Hi-Tech delivers to my building on Saturdays. Costs $2 instead of $1 but saves me lugging a full bottle up the street and stairs.timmydownawell wrote:Yep, that's all you need.
