A boat sink, suffering from heavy rain and strong waves in Kandal province
Kandal: One person died while one girl was loosen with three motorcycles after a boat sink at a port, located Kohkeo Lue village, Kohkeo commune, Lvea Em district at 1: 20 pm on June 8, 2016.
According to the witness, before the incident occurred, the boat were carrying about 10 people heading to Kean Svay district. Since there was a heavy rain, the driver turned the boat back to the bank, but it was capsized caused by strong waves.
Police and resident nearby had secured the victims immediately from the river after the incident; however, there was an old man, Chhun Ko, 62 died, suffering from drowning while a 3 years old girl and three motorcycles were loosen caused by heavy rain with strong waves, told the report.
