An Appeal to the General:

Are you in the land of the date palm, O General?

If so, can you please accumulate as many date stones as you possibly can in anticipation of your return to Cambodia?

You will be rewarded.

(This appeal applies equally to any reader currently in the lands of the date palm.)

Haha, cool. Have at least 10 dates sitting in my drawer at work. I'll throw them in my luggage today, as I'll be lacking in a couple weeks to get outta here.

Would probably be better if I got you seeds from the expensive ones (these are about $3 for half a kilo as opposed to something like $20), but I never get those.

PRICES OF NURSERY-STAGE DATE PALMS:

I thought that I might offer the first one free, then $5 each
for the best (the tallest and evidently strongest) and then $4 and $3 for
those not quite so handsome and promising.
